SPECIAL EDUCATION PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

NORTH ADAMS PUBLIC SCHOOLS
SPECIAL EDUCATION PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL

A SEPAC is a Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Every public school district in Massachusetts is required to establish a SEPAC. Massachusetts state law assigns both an advisory and participatory function to SEPACs. Membership is offered to all parents of children with disabilities and other interested parties.

The SEPAC is an interested group of parents/guardians of children with special needs who are dedicated to strengthen and support the special education program in the school district.

Please join us in welcoming our guest speaker, Ms. Pamela Farron, Disabilities Coordinator for Berkshire Community College. Ms. Farron will be sharing information regarding how to transition to college with a disability. What is available and how does my student access accommodations in college?

Please encourage your student to participate!
