Greylock Elementary School

Principal's Message

Welcome, Greylock families to the 2017-2018 school year. It has been a very busy summer at Greylock preparing for the opening of school.  We moved our library and computer lab.  Several classrooms received a fresh coat of paint and we moved third grade and sixth grade to new hallways.  One of the biggest changes this year was the addition of Pre-kindergarten to the building.  It feels as though our Greylock family is now complete.  In true Greylock fashion our sixth grade students jumped right in helping our new friends navigate the lunch line.  We also this year welcomed a new administrative assistant to the front office.  Your phone calls will now be answered by Ms. Donna Neville.

There have been many changes this year however one thing remains the same; my belief that when parents and the school work together the student benefits greatly.  There are many ways you can participate in your child’s education: attend family night events, attend a PTG meeting, check your child’s grades on Powerschool, check your child’s assignment notebook nightly (grades 3-6), spend some time on our school webpage and teacher webpages and most importantly contact us if you have a question or concern.  At Greylock we do not just work with students we work with families.  We want your years with us to be positive.

I am excited about the new school year.  I hope to get the opportunity to meet all of the Greylock families and work with you creating a wonderful learning experience for your child.  At Greylock our motto is “Give your best.”  I pledge to give my best to your child’s education each and every day.
