Greylock Elementary School

Principal's Message

Welcome, Greylock families to the 2016-2017 school year.  It will be a year filled with exciting events, a school wide reading challenge and many celebrations of success.  The Parent Teacher Group has already begun discussions about family events for the year.  If you have never attended a PTG meeting I invite you to try one this year.  Having a voice in the happenings of your child’s school is a great way to stay connected.

I have always believed strongly that when parents and the school work together the student benefits greatly.  There are many ways you can participate in your child’s education: attend family night events, check your child’s grades on Powerschool, check your child’s assignment notebook nightly (grades 3-7), spend some time on our school webpage and teacher webpages and most importantly contact us if you have a question or concern.  At Greylock we do not just work with students, we work with families.  We want your years with us to be positive.

I am excited about the new school year.  I hope to get the opportunity to meet all of the Greylock families and work with you creating a wonderful learning experience for your child.  At Greylock our motto is “Give your best.”  I pledge to give my best to your child’s education each and every day.
